Week I: Opening Game Against Oakland

The pre-season was about enjoying the Summer, but the first Sunday of the 2004 regular season was all business. Dennis and Michelle were the first to arrive to get in line for parking at 6 AM. They drove all morning from Toledo, Ohio, and brought plenty of Brats to go around. The seasoned veterans brought their RVs out for the first tailgate, and others were still trying to perfect their setups. Some said it just doesn’t feel like football season when it’s 80 degrees out. That will change soon enough. There were a few Raiders fans that showed up and most were good sports about the Steelers win. Let’s see if Steelers fans are as well received in Baltimore.
Final Outcome: Steelers win over Oakland, 24-21
